Stefani Polyspun Sediment Filters are manufactured using Virgin 100% Polypropylene that is blown and spun simultaneously to form the filter cartridge. This process allows the cartridge to be manufactured without using a central core leading to less restrictions and better performance. Melt blown filters also do not contain adhesives or binders so there is no chemical residual left in the filtered water.
Stefani range of Polypropylene Spun Filters are compatible with most liquids and are Highly effective at reducing Sediment, Rust, Sand, Silt and Algae. The weight and density structure of the Polyspun Filters enables the cartridge to have a heavier sediment load before compromising pressure or flow in a system, this allows the filter to perform exceptionally well over its entire lifespan.
